防治新型環保犯罪 中市環保局將非法代收垃圾服務業者移送檢調偵辦

These operators not only mixed waste with the Environmental Protection Bureau's waste collection vehicles but also illegally disposed of waste in remote areas or burned it, causing environmental pollution. Since 2019, the Environmental Protection Bureau has detected 6 illegal cases and transferred them to law enforcement for investigation and prosecution in accordance with the Waste Disposal Act. The Environmental Protection Bureau pointed out that with the advancement of technology, illegal operators are utilizing online marketing to attract businesses and landlords to use their services, mistakenly believing that once waste is handed over, there is no responsibility. Failure to entrust legal institutions to handle waste will violate relevant regulations and face fines. Household waste can be processed through cleaning teams, while industrial waste requires inquiries about legal institutions.
