Developing genomic resources for the European lobster, Homarus gammarus. Homarus gammarus

The European lobster (Homarus gammarus) is an iconic species important for the ecology of marine ecosystems and economy of coastal regions across its geographical range. Recently, this species has attracted attention as a potential aquaculture species because of its high economic value and the increased fishing pressure on wild populations. In this project, genomic resources for the European lobster were developed to facilitate research and management of this species.
