This statistic shows the answers to a survey question on how often consumers in the Netherlands purchased either fashion, accessories, shoes or jewelry via the Internet in 2017. Approximately one third of the respondents indicated they used e-commerce to buy any of these products between one or three times in the last 12 months. 20 percent of the respondents indicated they never purchased fashion, accessories, shoes or jewelry online.Approximately 40 percent of the telecom retail sales were done online, making this the product segment with the largest share of e-commerce sales in the Netherlands in 2017. On the other hand, in the food and near-food category this percentage reached three percent.
