资源简介:

This dataset contains cross-calibrated electron phase space density (PSD) measurements from the Arase (ERG) and Van Allen Probes missions during their overlapping operational period from February 2017 to October 2019. Phase space density is calculated and interpolated to fixed adiabatic coordinates of μ = 700 MeV/G and K = 0.3 G^0.5RE. The calculations are performed using the Tsyganenko 1989 (T89) magnetic field model. The dataset is provided in two versions with identical structure: (1) a baseline product using Arase and Van Allen Probes data, and (2) an extended product that additionally incorporates GPS satellite data into the PSD calculation. The dataset enables direct comparison of electron dynamics across the two missions through a consistent cross-calibration framework. The calibration methodology is described in a manuscript currently under review in Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics.Electron flux inputs used to derive PSD were obtained from multiple mission data products. Arase (ERG) data were accessed via the ERG Science Center (ISAS/JAXA and ISEE/Nagoya University; https://ergsc.isee.nagoya-u.ac.jp/index.shtml.en; Miyoshi et al., 2018), using Level-3 pitch angle–sorted electron flux data from the MEP-e (Kasahara et al., 2019) and HEP (Hori et al., 2020) instruments. Van Allen Probes electron flux data from the MagEIS and REPT instruments were obtained from the NASA/GSFC CDAWeb service (https://cdaweb.gsfc.nasa.gov/index.html).
