资源简介:
The main objective of the survey is to monitor the coverage, quality of coverage and access indicators for the following reproductive health products / family planning methods in rural and urban areas of Nepal: injectable contraceptives (Sangini, OK 3-month and OK 1-month), condoms (Dhaal and OK), oral contraceptive pills (Nilocan White, Sunaulo Gulaf, OK POP and OK COC), emergency contraceptives (Postinor 2), IUDs (Copper T and Multiload) and implants (Norplant). The MAP methodology uses lot quality assurance sampling techniques (LQAS) to draw a sample of 19 rural and 19 urban wards from the complete list of rural and urban wards with probability proportional to the population size of the ward. A sample of 19 provides an acceptable level of error for making management decisions. With at least 92 percent accuracy, it identifies whether a coverage benchmark has been reached or whether a product/ service area is below the average coverage of a program area. A census of retail outlets selling modern contraceptive methods was conducted in these sample wards.
