Global 0.05° daily mean land surface temperature product (2001-2023)

Based on observational data from flux tower sites worldwide, we developed a weighted averaging method that integrates daytime and nighttime measurements to estimate daily mean land surface temperature (DMLST). This method was further combined with the instantaneous LST product derived from NOAA/AVHRR to generate a global daily mean LST dataset at a spatial resolution of 0.05°, covering the period from 1981 to 2023.

The dataset is provided with a scaling factor of 0.01.

Specifically, the dataset provided here covers the period from 2001 to 2023.
