การวิจัยเรื่อง การกำกับดูแลตนเองของธุรกิจสื่อด้านเนื้อหา (Content) บนแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ในกิจการโทรทัศน์ของประเทศไทย: กรณีศึกษาต่างประเทศ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อดำเนินการศึกษากฎเกณฑ์การกำกับดูแลการให้บริการเนื้อหาจากสื่อรายการโทรทัศน์ ภาพยนตร์ วีดิโอ ผ่านโครงข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ตเพื่อทำการเผยแพร่หรือออกอากาศบนแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ (On-Demand Programme Service: ODPS) เช่น Line TV, WeTV, Bugaboo, MonoMaxx, CH3Plus, TrueID TV เป็นต้น ซึ่งกิจการที่มีอยู่ในปัจจุบันของประเทศไทย และศึกษาเปรียบเทียบกับกฎเกณฑ์ของต่างประเทศ วิเคราะห์ข้อดีข้อเสียของกฎเกณฑ์การกำกับดูแลด้านเนื้อหาของต่างประเทศในกิจการโทรทัศน์สำหรับผู้ให้บริการ On-Demand Programme Service (ODPS) เพื่อกำหนดแนวทางการกำกับดูแลตนเองที่เหมาะสมกับประเทศไทย ได้แก่ สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ประเทศญี่ปุ่น สหราชอาณาจักร และสหภาพยุโรป ตลอดจนเสนอแนวทางการกำกับดูแลตนเอง เช่น การแก้ไขปรับปรุงกฎเกณฑ์ และการจัดทำแนวปฏิบัติสำหรับผู้ให้บริการ On-Demand Programme Service (ODPS) ในกิจการโทรทัศน์ เพื่อให้เกิดการกำกับดูแลที่เป็นธรรม มีประสิทธิภาพ และสอดคล้องกับยุคปัจจุบัน || The objectives of the research on “Self-Regulation of Content Media Business on Online Platforms in Thailand's Television Business: A Case Study of Overseas”, were to conduct a study of the regulations governing content in the television service for the current On-Demand Program Service (ODPS) such as Line TV, WeTV, Bugaboo, MonoMaxx, CH3Plus, TrueID TV, etc., service providers in Thailand. and compare with foreign regulations analyze the pros and cons of foreign content regulatory regulations in the television service for On-Demand Program Service (ODPS) providers in order to formulate self-regulatory guidelines suitable for Thailand, namely Korea, Japan, United Kingdom and the European as well as propose guidelines for selfregulation, such as amendments to the rules and the preparation of guidelines for OnDemand Program Service (ODPS) providers in the television service, to achieve fair governance effective and consistent with the present
