Xylene-degrading bacteria extracted from kitchen waste Raw sequence reads

All kinds of xylene pollution is a prominent problem in industry, so far there have been many methods used, and biodegradation method because of its environmental protection, low cost, no secondary pollution and other advantages, gradually received attention. The biodegradation method uses the metabolic activities of microorganisms to convert xylene into non-toxic or low-toxic substances, so as to achieve the purpose of purifying the environment. Many previous studies have shown that some naturally occurring microorganisms have the ability to degrade xylene, so this study extracted two bacteria with the ability to degrade xylene from kitchen waste.
