Klebsiella pneumoniae AMR and Virulence (KpnVAMR)

This study features whole-genome sequences of Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates from clinical specimens such as blood, sputum, pus, etc. The genomes were analyzed to explore carbapenem resistance, virulence factors, and capsular types, providing insights into the genetic and phenotypic traits of these isolates. By focusing on Indian K. pneumoniae isolates and their pathotypes, this work enhances understanding of their resistance mechanisms and virulence, contributing to improved surveillance, diagnostics, and therapeutic approaches
