This dataset contains the raw and processed data supporting the manuscript "EGCG alleviates premature aging caused by excessive methionine intake via the formation of N-EGCG and activation of DAF-16/FOXO" submitted to Food Bioscience. The dataset includes: Raw lifespan, reproductive capacity, and developmental phenotype measurements of Caenorhabditis elegans (wild type and daf-16(mu86) mutant) under different treatments (CON, MET, MET+EGCG, EGCG). Source data for qPCR analyses of daf-16 target genes (e.g., sod-3, hsp-16.2, gst-4). Non-targeted metabolomics and of CON, MET, MET+EGCG, and EGCG groups, including peak lists and quantification tables. All files are provided in their original formats (Excel), allowing independent verification and reanalysis by reviewers and readers.
