It comprises bibliographic records extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), covering 83,614 research articles and 4,272,627 cited references published between 1975 and 2025. The dataset was compiled to analyze publication trends, collaboration networks, keyword evolution, and thematic shifts in the field of fish adaptation.
