Ocean Science Information System

The “Ocean Science Information System”, short OSIS, is a dynamic service, operated and developed by the GEOMAR Helmholtz Center for Ocean Research Kiel. At its core, OSIS serves as a hub where scientific activities are planned and metadata of these activities are managed and made accessible through publication. OSIS is also used for the internal exchange of data and metadata in the context of scientific activities.‘海洋科学信息系统’（简称OSIS），由基尔GEOMAR赫尔姆霍茨海洋研究中心运营与开发，是一项动态服务。OSIS的核心功能在于构建一个科学活动规划的中心枢纽，并负责管理相关活动的元数据，确保其通过发布方式得以广泛共享。此外，OSIS亦被应用于科学活动背景下的数据与元数据的内部交流。（Ocean Science Information System）
