Households with an SVOD subscription in the Benelux region 2014-2018

Households from Belgium and Luxembourg increasingly subscribed to online video between 2014 and 2018, whereas growth in the Netherlands started to lag behind. When comparing 2018 and 2017, for example, subscription numbers increased by roughly 50 percent among Belgian and Luxembourgish private households, whereas Dutch figures grew by roughly one third. In 2014, however, a substantial number of households in the Netherlands already had SVOD subscriptions, in contrast to Belgium and Luxembourg.
