Tyrosine phosphorylation at residue 705 is required for STAT3 dimerization, nuclear translocation, and DNA binding while the function of serine 727 phosphorylation remains largely unknown. The mechanism for serine phosphorylation is independent of tyrosine phosphorylation (reviewed in Yu et al, 2014; Guanizo et al, 2018).
酪氨酸在705位残基处的磷酸化对于STAT3二聚化、核转位以及DNA结合至关重要,而丝氨酸727位磷酸化的功能则尚属未知。丝氨酸磷酸化的机制与酪氨酸磷酸化相互独立(详见Yu等,2014年;Guanizo等,2018年综述)。
