This dataset supports the study “Designing Governance for the Future: An Integrated Governance Readiness Model for Advancing SDGs-Aligned Digital Transformation.” It contains a multi-year panel dataset covering 143 countries over the period 2015–2024, developed to assess Digital Governance Readiness (DGR) in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The dataset includes: Raw and processed indicators across seven governance dimensions: regulatory preparedness, digital infrastructure, digital skills, innovation capacity, stakeholder inclusivity, institutional capacity, and environmental alignment Normalized indicators and composite scores Digital Governance Readiness Index (DGRI) values (0–100 scale) Country classifications by readiness tiers and typologies Data compiled from international sources including UNDESA, ITU, OECD, and Oxford Insights The dataset enables cross-country benchmarking, longitudinal analysis, and policy-relevant assessment of governance systems supporting sustainable digital transformation.
