Mean DDA is the Renno et al. [1998] dust devil activity at the Curiosity Rover’s location, averaged over 90° of Ls for the given period, at the time of sol shown (LTST = local true solar time). DDA is predicted using output from a MarsWRF simulation of the atmosphere over Gale Crater, now using vertical Grid A [see paper referenced below for details].These data are used to produce Figure 12 in the paper “Convective vortex and dust devil predictions for Gale Crater over three Mars years and comparison with MSL-REMS observations” - JGR-Planets, 2019 - by C.
