Xenium In Situ Gene Expression of healthy and asthmatic lung endobronchial biopsies

We applied single-cell spatial transcriptomics (Xenium, 10X genomics) to reveal the lung wall landscape from healthy donors, patients with asthma undergoing anti-inflammatory therapies and historical clinical trial samples. We detected 106,304 cells across the 2 slides with 3,566,174 transcripts with a median of 31 and 15 transcripts per cell for the samples collected at Imperial College and KIA samples respectively. Samples were processed as recommended by the manufacturer protocol.
