Cellular and immunological health effects of legacy and new organic contaminants in Canadian polar bears

Biological samples were taken from polar bears in Western Hudson Bay to investigate the biological effects of contaminants. Specifically, the project is targeting live cells for use in in vitro laboratory experiments to determine toxicity of legacy and new contaminants detected routinely in polar bears.
