hyBit open data collection

This collection serves as a starting point for sharing the data and models developed and utilized in the context of the hyBit project in collaboration with OFFIS e.V. 

It provides data and models to support research on integrating renewable energy sources, industrial infrastructure transformation, and distributed energy networks. The collection includes historical weather data, photovoltaic system configurations, wind turbine specifications, and electricity consumption profiles for a steel plant. These resources help in analyzing the feasibility of hydrogen hubs by modeling real-world energy production and consumption scenarios.

In addition to data, the repository includes models of the electrical and hydrogen networks. This open-source collection aims to facilitate energy research and contribute to the development of sustainable industrial solutions. A full description of the data and latest updates can be found in the public gitlab repo. We encourage researchers to use it and contribute to it.
