Dataset for 'An Empirical Study on Personal Information Management Practices Across Scholarly Workflows'

The dataset accompanies the paper 'An Empirical Study on Personal Information Management Practices Across Scholarly Workflows' published in the Proceedings of the CHI 2026 conference. The study investigates how scholars manage scholarly information across different stages of their scholarly workflows. It includes: Survey instruments, including the questionnaire used in the study (PDF and Word formats) Survey responses collected through an online questionnaire (CSV format) Interview transcripts from guided tour interviews with participants Interview screenshots from the interview recordings To protect the participants’ privacy, all data have been anonymised. Personally identifiable information and sensitive content have been removed or redacted prior to publication. The dataset is provided to support transparency and reproducibility of the research reported in the corresponding publication.
