Igf1r signaling is required in fibroblasts to drive the formation of new alveoli, and those activities is depend upon its regulation on mechanical property of myofibroblasts via an Akt/Yap mechanism. RNA-Seq analysis of FACS sorted Rosa-EGFP cells from P6 lungs after Igf1r was deleted at P0 by Gli1creER.
