In this study, continuous column photobioreactor treating AD effluent based on microalgae in mixed culture was operated and the effect of increasing nitrogen loading rate by control hydraulic retention time or substrate concentration for nutrient removal and biomass production was examined. Biomass yield and composition were analyzed and estimated as a feedstock for biofuel production. For deeper insight, the microalgal-bacterial microbial community structure was comparatively analyzed by high-throughput sequencing.
