RNA-seq of guinea pig (Cavia porcellus) lung at 14 days post Mycoplasma bovis infection and matched controls

This project contains RNA-seq data from lung tissues of Hartley guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus) at 14 days post infection with Mycoplasma bovis, together with time-matched uninfected (PBS) controls. The study aims to characterize host transcriptional responses in the lower respiratory tract during the subacute phase of infection and to identify immune and inflammatory pathways associated with pathology. Total RNA was extracted from lung tissue, rRNA was depleted (or poly-A selected; update as appropriate), and paired-end libraries were sequenced on an Illumina platform. These data support downstream differential expression, pathway enrichment, and signature discovery to inform pathogenesis studies and model development.
