The Impact of Rapid Maxillary Expansion on the Nasal Microbiota of Children with Oral Breathing

Using 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing technology, this study investigates and analyzes the changes in the nasal microbiota of mouth-breathing children and healthy children before and after rapid maxillary expansion (RME). It aims to explore the impact of RME on the nasal microecology of children and provide data support for improving the nasal microbiota environment in mouth-breathing children through expansion treatment.
