DRG bulk RNAseq: Repeated Injections Of Intra-articular Nerve Growth Factor Into The Naive Murine Knee Joint Cause Synovial Inflammation, Knee Sensitization, And Neuronal Sprouting

We aimed to explore the pain-producing effects of repeated intra-articular (IA) injections of NGF into the knee joints of healthy mice, as well as the effects on joint innervation and structure. In addition DRG bulk RNAseq was performed. WT male mice age 15 weeks were intra-articularly injected with 500 ng NGF or vehicle 2x/week for 1.5 weeks for a total of 3 injections. Twenty-four hours after the last injection, ipsilateral L3-L5 DRGs were collected for bulk RNAseq.
