资源简介:
Age-associated degeneration of sensory neurons, including proprioceptive neurons innervating muscle spindles, contributes to functional decline in the aged nervous system. To examine how long-term habitual exercise is associated with molecular features of sensory neurons during aging, we compared transcriptomic profiles of dorsal root ganglia (DRG) from aged mice subjected to a 56-week exercise protocol with those from age-matched sedentary controls. This dataset enables exploration of gene expression patterns associated with exercise and sensory neuron aging.
