The project comprises reads from cDNA libraries constructed from Eragrostis curvula inflorescences sequenced on 454-GS-FLX sequencing instrument (Roche). The plants consisted of one apomictic and one sexual tetraploid accession . The RNA samples were derived from spikelets with basal flowers at the beginning of anthesis, containing embryo sacs at all developmental stages.
