Human gut microbiota composition and its functional properties in people with western and healthy dietary patterns

Relative abundance of microbiota aglomerated at the genus level determined using 16S RNA metagenomic sequencing (V3-V4 region) based on the SILVA v138 reference database in adults (31-50 years of age) living in the Wielkopolska region. Half of the data comes from people with Healthy Dietary Pattern and half from people with Western Dietary Pattern. The data also includes the results of an ex vivo experiment that aimed to determine the potential of microbiota to synthesize or degrade specific substances. The set also includes the results of the PICRUSt2 analysis.
