High-scoring potential binding sites for AP-1 and NF-Y appear in a mutually exclusive way.

The column AP-1 gives the number of genomic intervals bound by c-Fos in the indicated cell line, which have at least one match with the AP-1-related matrix V$JUNDM2_04 exceeding the optimized MSS and do not exhibit an NF-Y match as well. Correspondingly, the column NF-Y gives the number of genomic intervals matching with the matrix V$NFY_01 without any AP-1 motif match above the threshold. Column both gives the number of double occurrences, the column no AP-1/NF-Y the number of intervals with neither motif. Proximal (p) and distal (d) regions are shown separately.The Odds, Odds ratio and the Fisher’s Exact p-Values are calculated based on the cell type specific proximal and distal group in relation to an AP-1 or NF-Y binding site prediction.
