Modality-Dependent Involuntary Attention and Eye Gaze Direction Affect Auditory Spatial Discrimination

Behavioral and raw EEG data supporting the analyses in the article “Modality-Dependent Involuntary Attention and Eye Gaze Direction Affect Auditory Spatial Discrimination” The uploaded MATLAB (.mat) file contains behavioral data collected during an experimental task. The dataset includes three key variables, each stored as matrices of size 40(trials) × 20(blocks): Answer (correct response): matrix containing the correct responses for each trial. Resp (actual response): matrix containing participants’ observed responses. Conditions: matrix coding experimental conditions for each trial. The Conditions variable encodes 32 distinct experimental conditions defined by combinations of visual or auditory cue type, cue location, target location, spatial shift direction (left/right) and fixation (left/right).
