Our study emphasizes the pivotal role of wetlands in the global methane cycle and highlight the complex responses of CH4 emissions to climate changes. Meanwhile, we reveal the mechanisms of plant, soil and microbe on wetland CH4 cycling. Furthermore, our results highlight the need for more long-term, field-based experiments to explore the underlying mechanisms of wetland CH4 emissions under climate changes, particularly focusing on the interactive effects of these factors.
