Unfit Properties

A list of the houses in Syracuse that have been declared as unfit by Code Enforcement. The process begins when a member of the community makes a call or complaint to Code Enforcement. A Code Enforcement Investigator is then assigned and goes to the home to do an inspection. The investigator then makes a determination if the complaints rise to the level of a violation against local or state housing laws. The Code Enforcement Department sends a letter to the landlord informing them of a comply by date, that the landlord is ordered to remedy the concerns by.
