RNAseq of human retinal pigment epithelial cells/choroid

We report the RNAseq dataset of retinal pigmented epithelium/choroid samples extracted from 3 post-mortem heathy human retinas. Overall design: The retinal pigment epithelial cells/choroid layers were dissected from donor retinas and processed for RNA extraction using the Rneasy kit with Dnase I (Qiagen). RNA quality was checked using bioanalyzer and transcriptome libraries were prepared using the TruSeq Stranded mRNA kit (Illumina) and processed for 100bp single-end sequencing with an Novaseq 6000 (Illumina), which yieled ~38-50 million reads per sample.
