Transcriptome analysis of Solenopsis invicta workers and queens exposed to juvenile hormone analogs

This project aims to investigate the transcriptomic responses of the red imported fire ant, Solenopsis invicta, following exposure to juvenile hormone analogs.RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed on whole-body samples of worker ants and queens treated with three juvenile hormone analog compounds, including pyriproxyfen, fenoxycarb, and S-methoprene, as well as corresponding untreated control groups.The resulting transcriptome data provide a valuable resource for understanding gene expression changes associated with juvenile hormone analog exposure in different castes of S. invicta and will support further studies on hormonal regulation and pest management strategies.
