EV-IPA-1000: A Benchmark for Electric Vehicle Itinerary Planning with Simultaneous Activities

EV-IPA-1000 is a semi-synthetic benchmark of 1,000 mid-range routes (200-1,000 km) across the European road network for electric vehicle itinerary planning with simultaneous activities - deciding where to charge and where to carry out requested errands (coffee, groceries, pharmacy, hotel, restaurant) on a single trip. Each instance pairs real road infrastructure with corridor-extracted charging stations and points of interest. Routes are drawn from OpenStreetMap and routed with Valhalla 3.5.1; chargers and POIs within 1 km of each route's driven polyline are extracted from the same snapshot. Attributes OSM does not supply - ratings, price levels, some connector powers and opening hours - are synthesized. Coordinates, names and categories are the real OSM data. Contents: 1,000 OD pairs with encoded polylines, per-route charger and POI corridors, sampled activity requests, and a surrogate energy-consumption model. A CP-SAT baseline is included: solver outputs for all instances plus 999 per-route itinerary JSONs, each re-verified by an independent replay. Derived from OpenStreetMap - contains data (c) OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0.
