Listening test results of perceived clarity assessments for different C80 levels, musical stimulus and subjects' musical training

The file is a database in Excel format, which includes the results of a listening test carried out by 36 participants. This test was conducted to evaluate the effect that musical stimulus and musical training have on the perception of the clarity of an impulse response, based on its C80 level. The stimuli presented in the listening test were obtained from the convolution of 18 impulse responses with different C80 levels and five musical motifs: two orchestral pieces, two solo pieces and one a cappella vocal piece. Two groups of 18 participants took the listening test evaluation: one with no previous musical training and the other with at least 10 years of training. Participants were asked to indicate how high they considered the clarity of the stimuli on a scale between 1 and 5. The results of this evaluation are presented in this database.
