Derived dataset based on GBIF occurrence data cleaned for deep-sea pelagic species in the Gulf of Mexico

This derived dataset includes occurrence records for deep-sea pelagic species obtained via GBIF. Records were filtered for quality and used to model species distribution in the Gulf of Mexico using ecological niche modeling techniques. This dataset supports a manuscript in preparation that investigates temporal genomic changes and current and future habitat suitability under different RCP scenarios.
