We performed a high-throughput droplet-based single-cell RNA sequencing experiment on a sensitive MCL cell line model (REC-1) treated with ibrutinib over time using the 10x Genomics platform. Two biological replicates were generated of an untreated control, 6 h, and 48 h ibrutinib-treated cells. REC-1 cells were cultured for 48 h, one sample stayed untreated, the second was treated with 400 nM ibrutinib for 6 h and the third for 48 h. After harvesting, the cells were stained with propidium iodide to identify the surviving cells which entered single-cell RNA sequencing.
