Meniscal injury (Arthroscopy)

A retrospective study was performed on 597 patients undergoing arthroscopic meniscus injury repair in the Department of Joint Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of University from January 2013 to May 2018, including 250 males and 352 females, with the gender ratio (male: female) of 0.71:1 and the average age of (46.28±14.55). Among the patients, 291 suffered from right knee meniscus injury, accounting for 48.74%, with an average age of 46.47 years old; 306 suffered from left knee meniscus injury, accounting for 51.26%, with an average age of 46.37 years old; 143 suffered from BMCI, accounting for 23.95%, with an average age of 48.78 years old; 192 suffered from medial meniscus injury, accounting for 32.16%, with an average age of 44.96 years old; 261 suffered from lateral meniscus injury, accounting for 43.71%, with an average age of 45.91 years old.
