Analysis protocol and R code for a multicohort transcriptomic study of airway epithelial antiviral-Type 2 imbalance in asthma

This repository contains the R analysis code and analysis protocol supporting a multicohort transcriptomic study of airway epithelial antiviral and Type 2/mucus activity in asthma. The analysis uses four publicly available Gene Expression Omnibus datasets (GSE309698, GSE211158, GSE240567, and GSE152004) in a mechanistic discovery and independent validation framework. The code covers expression harmonisation, antiviral-signature derivation, longitudinal rhinovirus 16 response analysis, rank-based pathway scoring, cohort-specific association models, cross-validation, sensitivity and heterogeneity analyses, and random-effects meta-analysis. Raw expression matrices are not redistributed; source datasets are identified by their GEO accession numbers.
