Departing and arriving passengers on bigger public airports in Denmark 2012-2023

During the time under consideration, both the number of arriving and departing passengers increased, reaching over 18 million departing and arriving passengers each as of 2019. The passenger numbers fell drastically in 2020 as a result of reduced aircraft operations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the following years, passenger departure and arrivals traffic gradually increased and reached just above 16 million in 2023.
