资源简介:

European National Transfer Accounts (ENTA) provide age- and sex-specific data on income, public and private transfers, consumption, and saving for 26 European countries over the period 2008–2023. ENTA integrate age and sex into the European System of Accounts (ESA) by combining macroeconomic data from Eurostat with microdata from the European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC), the EUROMOD tax-benefit microsimulation model, the Household Budget Survey (HBS), and a range of additional datasets. ENTA apply the harmonised methodology of the global NTA project (www.ntaccounts.org), which facilitates comparison not only among European countries but also on a global scale. The dataset reports per capita means by single year of age (0–80+) for men, women, and both sexes combined. It covers primary income (employment income and asset income); taxes and social contributions by economic function; government transfer benefits in cash (pensions, family, unemployment, health, and other benefits); funded pensions; private transfers between and within households; government consumption (education, health, and other); private consumption (education, health, housing, and other); several measures of disposable income; and saving. All quantities are measured at basic prices and scaled to ESA aggregates, ensuring that population-weighted age-specific means sum to the corresponding national accounts totals. ENTA data are provided in two formats: an ESA-linked format that maintains the terminology and sector structure of the European System of Accounts, and an NTA format that follows the conventions of the global National Transfer Accounts project. The data are available in euro (nominal and real), purchasing-power-adjusted euro, as a percentage of primary income, household primary income, and GDP, as well as in NTA and ENTA norm units for cross-country comparison of age profiles. The data can be explored and accessed also at www.ntaeurope.eu/dataexplorer. The download contains CSV files with age-specific data and aggregate data, and the codebook. The methodology, variable definitions, and limitations are documented in the accompanying manual. The full replication code (Stata) is available at https://github.com/ntaeurope/enta.
