资源简介:
This dataset provides high-resolution maps of soil organic carbon (SOC) stock in coastal saltmarshes and unvegetated tidal flats of China for 2022, specifically for the 0–100 cm depth interval. The SOC stock is expressed in g C m⁻², with a spatial resolution of 10 m.SOC stock values for the 0–100 cm depth were estimated by extrapolating the relationship between soil properties (bulk density and SOC) from the 0–40 cm depth, using ecological models that incorporate vegetation contributions to soil carbon (CVSCt) and vertical carbon gradients (VGCS). This extrapolation introduces a degree of uncertainty, as the relationship between SOC at 0–40 cm is assumed to hold for the additional 60 cm of soil depth. As such, while the results are valuable for spatial assessments of blue carbon storage, users should be cautious of the potential variability and uncertainty in the 0–100 cm estimates due to this assumption. The data are provided as a single-band GeoTIFF file, with pixel values representing the estimated SOC stock at 0–100 cm depth. This dataset is intended for use in regional- and national-scale blue carbon assessments, particularly in coastal ecosystems with significant vertical soil carbon accumulatioPlease cite Qi G, Wei J, Li H, et al.
