NBRP sequence. Bacteria

The National BioResource Project (NBRP) aims to enable Japan to structurally provide systematic accumulation, storage and provision of nationally recognized bioresources which are used widely in life science researches as materials. When National BioResource Project started in 2002 with support from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, Sports and Technology, NIG had been responsible for the systematic collection, storage, and distribution of E. coli and B. subtilis strains. Recently, post genome resources that were developed in Japan have been deposited in NBRP; E.coli and B. subtilis. The resources including the systematic deletion and insertion mutants, and genes clones now are opened for E. coli B. subtilis researchers. This time, to enrich the information of our E. coli and B. subtilis strains, we carried out the whole genome sequence.
