This dataset provides high-resolution telemetry data from three industrial Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification systems located in northern Mexico. The data is intended for research in autonomic computing, IoT performance monitoring, and water treatment efficiency analysis.
Hardware & Methodology The data acquisition was performed using a Siemens IOT2050 Gateway. The sensor network utilizes LoRaWAN connectivity with Dragino industrial nodes.
Flow Monitoring: Measured via propeller sensors and LoRaWAN pulse concentrators.
Level Monitoring: Captured using hydrostatic differential pressure probes calibrated for volumetric measurement. The gateway transmits data via MQTT protocol to a cloud platform at 2-minute sampling intervals.
Data Content The dataset includes 15 variables covering:
Mass balance (Feed, Permeate, Concentrate, and Reused water flows).
Storage levels (Catchment and product tanks).
System efficiency rates.
Precise ISO 8601 timestamps with local time zone offsets.
Technical Note Level percentages exceeding 100% represent physical overfilling beyond nominal design capacity, not sensor errors. For more details, please refer to the included README_dataset.txt file.
