This methodological study aimed to identify evidence on the effectiveness of mobile applications in maintaining healthy behaviors among patients with chronic coronary syndrome and to evaluate the usability of the highest-rated apps on Google Play® using the System Usability Scale. The study was conducted in two stages: a systematic review following JBI recommendations, with evidence quality assessed using the GRADE tool, and an evaluation of mobile applications available in the main virtual stores in Brazil after ethics committee approval. Among the 14 included studies, 11 (79%) demonstrated positive effects of mobile applications on healthy behaviors for secondary prevention, with methodological quality and risk of bias ranging from moderate to low depending on the outcome assessed. Regarding usability, most applications were rated as good, excellent, or best imaginable, highlighting the potential of mobile apps as an effective strategy for secondary prevention despite the limited number of available studies.
