The Experience and Impact of Patient Suicide on Psychiatrists in Malaysia

This dataset accompanies the manuscript entitled "The Experience and Impact of Patient Suicide on Psychiatrists in Malaysia." The dataset contains anonymized data from a nationwide cross-sectional survey involving Malaysian psychiatrists. The study examined psychiatrists' experiences following patient suicide, including the emotional impact, effects on professional confidence, changes in clinical practice, workplace support, coping strategies, and perceived training needs. All direct identifiers have been removed before publication. The dataset is provided to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and future secondary analyses in accordance with the PLOS ONE Data Availability Policy.
