Code and supporting data for "Preconditioning of polynya formation by ocean mixing at Maud Rise, Antarctica"

The code and supporting data used for the analyses and figure generation in "Preconditioning of polynya formation by ocean mixing at Maud Rise, Antarctica" are archived here. The code package includes Jupyter notebooks ("Code_figures.ipynb") used to generate the figures, as well as MATLAB scripts ("data_process.m") used for data processing. Here also show files contain the processed/intermediate datasets required for figure generation. Specifically, "ERA5_tau.nc" includes ERA5-derived wind stress; "sg640_surf.mat" includes surface momentum flux estimates from ERA5; and "sg640_sochic_sort" includes the processed and sorted Seaglider dataset. Additional datasets used for figure generation, but not redistributed in this archive, are described and cited in the main text and Data Availability statement of the manuscript.
