Enhanced biosafety of domestic hot water by combined disinfection of chlorine and ultraviolet

The objectives of this project were to investigate the inactivation of bacteria (suspended and attached) in DHWS by simultaneous chlorine and UV treatment, and to examine the effects of disinfection on biofilm surface morphology, bacterial community and diversity. It is expected to provide reference and technical support for ensuring biosafety of DHWS.
