Broad-Scope Survey of Soil Fungi in Tamarix chinensis Soils

This study investigates the fungal communities associated with Tamarix chinensis in the Yellow River Delta region. A total of 28 sampling sites, selected for their relatively consistent environmental conditions, were chosen for soil collection. The research includes both natural forests and artificial forests of varying ages, allowing for an exploration of the effects of forest type and age on fungal communities. This study aims to deepen our understanding of soil and fungal interactions in Tamarix chinensis ecosystems, focusing on the role of fungi in the plant adaptation to saline alkali conditions.
